As you may know, many products that the promotional merchandise industry sell, come from the Far East. As such, the Global outbreak of Coronavirus has driven disruption worldwide, impacting delivery times. Shipment delays are occurring and there are fears the issue could be exacerbated in the months ahead. We have been advising our clients of potentially longer production periods.
Some factories expect staff to take extra weeks to return and we expect supply disruption, depending on how long it will take to get workers back into factories. This will potentially affect shipments starting next month and may well impact April and May.
There are still good stocks in our supply partners’ UK and European warehouses and our advice is to not delay your purchase of merchandise and ordering while products are still available. Another solution is to forward your order of merchandise in bulk, for us to store in our warehouse facility for dispatch, as and when you require it.
We also have fantastic supplier partners here in the UK and in Europe with superb ranges of products, who are not affected by this ongoing situation.
